Accompanist Christine Doré

Pianist Christine Doré has received international
acclaim as a chamber musician with wide interpretative capabilities. She began her musical studies in England at the age of
six and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree with honors from the New England Conservatory and a Masters from the Mannes
College of Music, where she attended on a full merit scholarship. Ms. Doré enjoys an active and varied career as a
chamber musician, accompanist, soloist and teacher and performs both around the U.S. and internationally. Ms. Doré
made her New York debut in 1996 as a collaborative pianist at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall. In recent years she
has twice toured Eastern Europe, giving performances in Prague and at the palace in Czesky Krumlov. Ms. Doré has appeared
as a soloist with a number of orchestras, including the Camerata Orchestra of New York, the Stony Brook Summer Music Festival
Orchestra and the Mannes College Orchestra, and has subbed regularly with the Long Island Philharmonic. She also has been
the accompanist for the Huntington Choral Society since 1994. Ms. Doré is a founding member of the chamber music
ensemble Chamberosity. Her chamber music engagements have taken her to various parts of the U.S., most recently Iowa and Rhode
Island, and she can be seen in upcoming seasons in New York, Massachusetts, Iowa and Michigan. Ms. Doré ran the Music
At Greenlawn concert series for the decade of its highly successful existence. She was for several years a member of the chamber
music faculty of the pre-college music program at SUNY Stony Brook. Ms. Doré currently serves on the music faculty
of CW Post University as a professor of Instrumental Coaching, and was a faculty member of the highly regarded Stony Brook
Summer Music Festival from 1998-2005. She currently maintains a private studio in East Northport. Ms. Doré believes
in the highest standards of musical education and is devoted to her many students, both past and present. She and her husband
Ward are the proud parents of James Michael Conolly.
